Summary:
Under the supervision of the department director, physician, or nurse practitioner will perform a wide range of office and secretarial duties including answering telephone, patient scheduling, computer entry, statistical compilation, office correspondence for department, patient referrals, insurance verification, prior authorizations, compiling and maintenance of patient medical records and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of high school degree or equivalent, related college coursework preferred.
Experience working medical billing preferred.
